I am a CNA with 13 + years of experience in Home Health Care and 14 years exceptional experience and training with Hospice.
I have multiple certifications and extensive experience in caring for patients with a wide-range of illnesses.
I also have considerable experience in the care of patients with Dementia and Alzheimer's Disease, and I recently completed coursework from the American Alzheimer's Association in Dementia Care, soon to be followed by my Dementia Specialist Certification.
I am a late-in-life career changer. Prior to health care, I worked for many years in the corporate world. After the experience of volunteering for Hospice so significantly changed my life, I left my corporate job, returned to Connecticut, and changed professions to work in health care.
I obtained many certifications including my Nurse Assistant Certification (CNA), followed by CPR, First Aid, Emergency First Aid, and on and on. It is a long list and continues to grow to this day. I love my work and find it very rewarding.
There is one sure thing that I can promise and that is to care for your loved one with kindness, patience and compassion.
The following is a partial list of services I provide:
. Vital Signs
. Range of Motion
. Visual/Speech/Communication Therapy
. Physical Therapy
. Hand & Foot Splinting
. Medication Management
. Hoyer Lift
. Wheelchair Transfer
. Stand-up Wheelchair
. Shower Wheelchair
. Oral Hygiene, Hair and Skin Care
. Bed Bath
. Showering
. Dressing
. Shopping
. Meal Preparation
I am also willing to travel to any part of Connecticut.
I have an extensive list of exceptional references, which I believe reflect the quality of my work, my work ethic and my many superior skills.
I can be reached by email at rlenehan@yahoo.com, or you may contact me by cell phone at 203-215-0800.
Thank you for time.
Best,
Robbie
